Introducing Accutite Skin Tightening in Eustis, FL

AccuTite is the smallest hand piece in the Radiofrequency Assisted Lipolysis (RFAL) family of technologies, tiny but mighty, it combines the power of BodyTite, FaceTite and Quantum RF into a miniature device that fits the palm of your hand.

It is rare to find a device that is a smaller version of its bigger counterpart yet is just as powerful, but in those rare cases something almost magical happens. It delivers powerful energy with extreme precision and accuracy.

With it, Dr. Cruz would be able to apply focal radiofrequency contraction in delicate and smaller areas while preventing the need for more invasive or excisional surgery, like a Blepharoplasty.

How does AccuTite compare to a Blepharoplasty?

AccuTite and blepharoplasty both address signs of aging around the eyes, but they differ significantly in approach. AccuTite is minimally invasive, using radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) to tighten skin and contour the area without the need for large incisions, whereas blepharoplasty involves surgical removal of excess skin and fat around the eyelids. One of the major benefits of AccuTite is its shorter recovery time, often just a few days with minimal swelling and bruising, compared to the 1-2 week recovery and more noticeable swelling with blepharoplasty. AccuTite also carries a lower risk of complications since it’s non-surgical, avoiding issues like scarring, infection, or anesthesia-related problems that can arise from blepharoplasty.

With tiny entry points that heal quickly and leave no visible scars, AccuTite provides natural, gradual tightening and contouring, resulting in a refreshed look, while blepharoplasty can produce more dramatic but potentially less subtle changes.

AccuTite tightens skin in addition to removing small amounts of fat, making it an ideal option for those with mild to moderate skin laxity, whereas blepharoplasty is better suited for individuals with severe drooping or excess skin. Additionally, AccuTite is generally more cost-effective, avoiding the higher costs associated with surgery, anesthesia, and longer recovery periods.

For patients seeking a less invasive, natural-looking solution, AccuTite is a superior choice, while blepharoplasty remains the option for more significant cosmetic corrections.

Benefits of AccuTite vs Face Lift Vs Blepharoplasty

  • Minimally invasive: No large incisions, only tiny punctures in the skin.
  • Quick recovery: Short downtime, typically just a few days to a week.
  • Natural-looking results: Gradual, subtle improvements that avoid the “overdone” look.
  • Tightens skin and reduces fat: Smooths and contours areas like the lower eyelid, neck and jowls.
  • No visible scarring: Tiny entry points heal quickly with no noticeable scars.
  • Lower risk: Avoids general anesthesia and carries fewer complications.
  • Cost-effective: Less expensive than traditional facelifts, blepharoplasty with fewer associated costs.
  • Ideal for early signs of aging: Perfect for mild to moderate skin laxity.

Yes, Accutite can be done in the same treatment session with Morpheus 8, or a few weeks after other treatments.

Being nervous on the day of the procedure is normal! One of the many benefits of an in-office procedure is that you will be surrounded by people you know (the doctor, his assistant, and office support staff) and we want you to have a safe and as pain-free experience as possible. When you arrive at the office we will first go over the procedure, confirm the treatment areas, and have you take any oral medications prescribed (relaxation, antibiotics, etc).

Treatment areas will be marked with surgical markers by the doctor as a guide to outline the areas. Upon entering the procedure room your treatment areas will be coated with a sterilizing solution, and you will be comfortably positioned on the treatment table, all areas not having the procedure will be draped with sterile sheets and towels and your face generally be covered. The procedure will then be performed. Procedure times vary, but the average length is 60 to 90 minutes. Afterward, you will be placed in a surgical garment or wrap if needed.

Within 15 to 30 minutes you will be discharged to the care of a friend or family member. Due to the oral medication that is administered before the procedure, you will not be able to drive yourself home afterward or for 24 hours following the procedure, we also request that you have someone stay with you for 24 hours.

AccuTite is an outpatient procedure that we do in our private clinic here in Eustis, FL. Most treatments are completed in an hour.

Local anesthesia is administered to the treatment area , no other  additional light sedation is required.

A small incision is made for the internal probe to be inserted, which allows the RF energy to work from within and moved through the fatty tissues to melt away the fat while tightening the skin. Light and gentle Liposuction may be performed thereafter if needed.

Depending on the treatment area, downtime can be from 1-2 days up to 10 days.
